Bill Sweatt and Joe Palmer on team USA, though Palmer has yet to play, to the best of my knowledge.
Tony Lagerstrom on Sweden (who's really ripping it up, BTW). Jan-Mikael Juutilainen on Finland.

0-0 after the 1st. USA is getting some decent chances down low, but not much to be worried about until they start crashing the net for rebounds. Canada is getting their chances by outnumbering the US players on one side of the ice. Good hitting game.

2-0 Canada Turris with one hell of a great pass to Alzner who unleashed a boomer. Both kids are going to be phenominal. Turris is that much better than he was last year (don't read into it).

I agree, but he'll never be Patrick Kane level (is that what you meant by not reading into it?).
US is taking too many shots from the outside. They need to put there heads down and go to the net. Mason is making some great saves when he has to. Canada is doing a good job taking advantage of turnovers and converting them to into scoring chances.

It is exactly what I ment hahahaha. Don't under rate Turris this kid is going to be just as good if not better than Kane (different styles of course though). I would still take Kane where we took him but it is going to be a good little hidden rivalry between those two during their careers. Turris is a great player. It won't be us who are kicking themselves for not taking Turris it will be Philli (not that Van Riemsdyke won't be good either though but Turris will be much better).
As far as the game yah America is just taking too many little mistakes. Mason is making great saves aswell...Bernier sure was PO-ed at not getting the start hahaha.

Yah it's not Smith. Canada is just skating circles around the USA team when they have the puck. It has all been about puck possession this game and Canada has been doing it much better. Too many give aways from the USA team and bad coverage by the USA. Canada is skating very very well.

I thought he was from Calgary but either way he is going to help the Caps in a big way. He seems like a nice kid who loves the game and works really hard to improve his game.
